I went out to the cinema yesterday to watch ' Brokeback Mountain'. I would recommend that every one go see it...its amazing
although its being widely sold as a love story between two gay cowboys
thats the superficial...
what its really abt
is two people who love each other, but cant tell people or get together because of societal objections
who have to marry women and have children to appear normal
and who eventually....ok..that would be giving away the story
but i thought initially it was going to end up as one of those films lacking in any form of emotional introspection
cos the first 30 mins was slow as hell.....
but after that....it was so over powering i cant still think abt parts of it cos it makes me too sad
all of the girls i went with were either crying or near tears like me:-)
for some reasons the boys wouldnt come
i have met people who shout proudly from the roof tops that they are homophobes....
i think you should be ashamed of yourself....
primarily cos its not in your position to judge
and to be proud of something like that...makes me sick
no one has the right to tell someone that their lives are corrupt
you pple should go watch this film.....
